As for the delivery...I was induced on Tues (2/5) and after he never came down, I had to have an emergency c-section on Thursday. Our son, Adam, was born on Thursday (Chinese New Year), (2/7) weighing in at 9 lbs. 2 oz and 20 inches long. I couldn't believe how big he was. No wonder he couldn't come down. They discovered the cord was wrapped around his neck twice...which would have meant a c-section anyway. So much for going thru 8+ hrs of waiting to dilate and experiencing all those contractions. The main reason for the cs was a drop in my blood pressure due to lack of oxygen. The medicine that was supposed to knock me out from the stomach down accidentally started higher than they wanted (prob. since the first guy had to stick me twice for the epidural) and it felt like my diaphragm collapsed, which meant I couldn't breathe. Talk about a scare!! On a good note, we are all doing well despite all the complications. The first thing I asked my husband in recovery was, "Nothing like this ever happened on Baby Story!"
